However, the fact that no specific king is mentioned is a little telling and superficially points to a time early in the reign of Joash, King of Judah which I will explain later. The mentioning of places like […]

We began this series on January 11, 2017 and continues to this day.
It chronicles our ongoing trek through the Bible beginning in Genesis, though our trek has not followed a 100% traditional order.
We have attempted to keep books whose contents are related in time, as much together as possible with some noteworth exceptions.
The specific chapters covered are NOT usually part of the title of each post making specific scriptures a little tricky to find by a simple “search”.
To compensate for that we have a page dedicated to this series which lists each of the scriptures we’ve covered so far as a link. It is our hope that this will help aid you in your studies….God Bless!

Nineveh was the capital city of Assyria which brings into focus WHY it was […]

There isn’t much in the book that is original since Zephaniah is the last of the 9 prophets whose ministry and message are prior to Judah’s exile […]

Teri told me later that she thought it would be beneficial to have me discuss with you the last question offering my insights. The last question was: Discuss how you see the particulars of Jeremiah’s most […]

God used him mightily! During his ministry and in this book of prophecy we learn much about the heart of God as a God to the nation of Israel, the God of the earth and the God of this individual man Jeremiah. If you remember Jeremiah had several times of questioning God, questioning the words He gave Jeremiah to speak and even […]
