Series: Easter Sunday 2016
Message – His Passion – seen through other eyes
Podcast: Download (142.9MB)
This past week, I divided several people into groups of two to examine certain people in the life of Jesus and “live” the week of the passion through their unique eyes.
After having done this they were to come on Easter Sunday prepared to share their insights into the Passion of Jesus from these unique perspectives.
This not only proved deeply moving and insightful to those who did the study, but to everyone who listened to their insights.
This exercise was also a GREAT instructional tool in teaching people how to study scripture as more than a book of history. They learned to live through the perspective of the people in the narrative and see through their eyes and process all they saw through their character and personalities.
This recording is very non-professional, but it is very unique. I hope you enjoy listening to these insights as much as we did.
The people in Jesus’ life I chose were the following:
- Peter
- John (the beloved)
- Thomas
- Judas Iscariot
- The women at the tomb
- The two on the road to Emmaus
The week of the Passion is a powerful study in scripture covering a large panorama of events and teachings which led to the crucifixion of our Lord. I hope you have enjoyed walking through these passages with us and as a result learned more clearly what God has to say to us concerning our own passion to do the will of our Father…Blessings!
I hope this teaching will challenge you and encourage you to place your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
You have a special place in God’s family & kingdom. If you do not know Him, please use our ‘Contact Us‘ page and reach out so we may have the privilege of introducing you to the Lord. Attendance at our church will NOT even be mentioned nor will money.
