This chapters deal with Othniel, Ehud, Shamgar & Deborah all judges in Israel.
Let me be VERY clear! If it were not for the overstepping of our age, where extreme feminism has found a foothold in the church and led many astray with its perversion of scripture I would have only sung the praises of Deborah in this section of scripture.
Deborah WAS a godly woman and was used by God to defibrillate the men of Israel into assuming their God given authority and that took faith and courage.
If Jael is most blessed and to be praise above the women who “dwell in tents”, then Deborah should be praised among all the women of Israel!
It is an awesome thing for Deborah to have been a prophetess, and even more so to have been mentioned among the judges, so nothing here should be understood and taking away from this truth!
I only find myself in the sad position of pointing out all she was NOT doing because of the cancerous egalitarian influence upon the Body of Christ.
Otherwise I would have mentioned only praise!
